As an employer, would you like to partner with Roe Valley Community Education Forum, by providing valuable work experience placements - at NO COST TO YOUR ORGANISATION?

Through Roe Valley Community Education Forum, the Department for Employment & Learning Steps to Succeed ‘Youth Employment Scheme’ helps and supports young unemployed and economically inactive secure employment and gain qualifications.

• Your business can avail of FREE staff for an 8 or 26 week period! 

• Clients will be in placement either 24 or 30 hours per week and you can agree with the
'client' which days need to be worked

• FREE training for placement clients

* Regular support from Roe Valley Community Education Forum

* While not obliged to employ after a placement has finished, your business can avail of DEL's 
Employer Subsidy or Enhanced Employer Subsidy - providing considerable financial support to keep
young people in work for up to a year!

A local engineering business commented:
"The Youth Employment Scheme has been a very effective recruitment tool for my business. It is important for local businesses and organisations to work in partnership with RVCEF. We a have role to play to support our community especially young people. I would recommend other businesses to get involved with the 'Youth Employment Scheme. Full details about Steps to Work will be provided over the phone and if you can provide the following documents and support, we will actively start finding the right person for your business. Alternatively, email details about your business and the type of placement you can offer by clicking here.

• As an employer, you must hold current Employer and Public Liability insurance

• A nominated person to train and supervise our 'client' while on placement

• Allow our Engagement and Development Officers visit your premises to review 'client' progress
