Learn and develop essential skills
for life and work!

Roe Valley Community Education Forum, through the Department for Employment and Learning’s and the European Social Fund employability initiatives, offers the unemployed and economically inactive a number of training opportunities to gain qualifications to Level 3.

Our training rooms at our Roemill Road offices, are unlike typical classroom environments. Roe Valley Community Education Forum guarantees that each course is delivered to no more than 12 ‘students’ at a time – ensuring our dedicated tutors are focused on learners’ achieving their qualification(s). Tutorials are informal and relaxed, with progress assessed on a weekly basis - an environment which contributes to Roe Valley Community Education Forum’s exceptionally high pass rates in all subject areas.

Do you already have qualifications in English, Maths and ICT?
Do you need to retrain to find work?

As an innovative and progressive social enterprise, we now provide vocational training in a number of subjects. Clients currently on the Government’s employability initiative ‘Steps to Work’, can avail of the following courses – FREE OF CHARGE!

QCF to Level 2 Diploma or Certificates:
• Customer Services
• Business Admin
• IT

All our courses are available to the unemployed and economically inactive through the current Youth Employment Scheme and our ESF More Flexible Steps programme. Both training opportunities run for a period of 26 weeks, during which time ‘clients’ each week spend 6 hours in a classroom environment and up to 24 hours in a relevant work placement.

Further details on how you can gain qualifications AND relevant work experience, call our Client Support Team at Roe Valley Community Education Forum on 777 69469 or email here.
