Getting back into work through ‘Steps to Work’

Since 2009, Roe Valley Community Education Forum has delivered the Department for Employment and Learning’s ‘Steps to Work’ initiative across Limavady Borough. While specifically created for the unemployed, Steps to Work can be accessed voluntarily by those made redundant and the economically inactive. We have helped successfully secure full or part-time employment for over 200 local people who have completed the Steps to Work programme.

Which Steps to Work options is best for you?
• 8 Week ‘Back to Work’ Option:

Gain twenty-six weeks of relevant work experience AND achieve up to 2 qualifications. You will be required to work 24 hours per week in placement and 6 hours in a classroom environment. The team have really helped me get a job.

The support I've received has been great.

I don't know what I would have done without Roe Valley.

Learning with them has been great.
